I am excited to announce my graduation from the University of North Texas May 13, 2016. This page is to help guide those who need to make travel arrangements. Thank you for your support and well wishes!
For More Information:
At UNT there are two primary graduation activities: University-wide (huge) and Undergraduate College (smaller).
UNT’s University-wide Commencement honors UNT’s annual graduating class with pomp and circumstance, featuring a well-known speaker, degree conferral and pre-commencement celebrations. The Undergraduate College Recognition Ceremonies enable you to enjoy the more personal and traditional moments of graduation with fellow graduates from my program in a more intimate setting.
The main graduation is on Friday, May 13th at 10am. The undergraduate college ceremony is on Saturday, May 14th at 8am.
UNT does not issue tickets for graduation so all are welcome. Please note that for the University-wide Commencement, guests will be seated in the stadium seats at the Coliseum.
UNT’s Commencement page has the place to go for up-to-date info on graduation. My parents and I will do our best to respond to emails, phone calls and text messages in a timely manner however the answer to your question might be found on Commencement page. This site is the place you want to go to if you want to:
If you intend to arrive in the Dallas/Fort Worth area by air, you have two options – DFW or Love Field. Love Field is smaller and is the airport typically used by Southwest.
Hilton Garden Inn Denton (3110 Colorado Blvd, Denton, Texas, 76210. 1-940-891-4700). Denton is a very small town so rooms will fill up quickly. We highly recommend making reservations ASAP. If the Hilton is full when you call to book, there are several hotels to choose from in the surrounding towns. In the event you book a room outside of Denton you will need to give yourself plenty of drive time on the day of the ceremonies.
Lastly, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me at email@example.com.
I appreciate all the love and support I have received on my college journey. I am excited to be graduating. Stay tuned for what’s next for me!
